Vocaltutor are looking for 1 or 2 girls to join Girlz Girlz Girlz.
Aged between 10-13.

The girl band will rehearse once a week in the Yorkshire area so you MUST be prepared to travel.  The girl band will compete in competitions all over the UK, and take part in showcases, and in time will work towards original music, and their own album. To apply go to www.girlzx3.com

Hiya Girlz Girlz Girlz fans and friends of Vocaltutor,

I am bringing you news of the very talented girl band, Girlz Girlz Girlz.

It is my job to bring you the sad news the band are splitting up. There last performance with the current line up will be on the 9th march 2011, at the Vocaltutor Star Search competition, at Westgate Common, in Wakefield.

The split is totally mutual and there is no ill feeling. It’s what is best for the band. Although the girls are very sad about the split, they are also excited about new possibilities.

Danielle Atkinson & Emily Atkinson will remain in Girlz Girlz Girlz and will audition for 1 or 2 new members.

Watch this space for more… If you want to register early to audition you can contact me via the Girlz website: www.girlzx3.com We will be auditioning for 1 or 2 members, aged 10-13, with strong vocal ability, and ideally to be able to sing harmonies. Please note this is a teaching band, so tuition is included. The new member(s) will need to be prepared to travel and work hard.

Ellie Hill-Brown is beginning work with Lauren Stocker this weekend, on a possible duo, partnership. The new duo (although new members may be auditioned for as well) will be called Dynamite.

The girls, or rather Girlz have been together for nearly a year and half and have performed with Re-connected, taking part in many competitions, and gone from strength to strength gaining confidence and valuable performance and social skills.

I would like you to join me in wishing the girls all the best in their new ventures.

Wednesday soon comes round at Westgate Common Club for the VocalTutor Junior Star Search. Jonathan Carroll opened with a Lionel Ritchie song, ‘All Night Long’ then went on to introduce the first act Brogan Sophie who looked good in a red Spanish style dress; she has a lovley voice and chose to sing, ‘I Can’t Wait To See You Again’ and ‘Mama Said’. Megan Rooker was next on stage looking great in a short white dress. Megan has a wonderful voice and sang in her set, ‘Make You Feel My Love’ and ‘At Last’. Taking us into the break was Beth Ready who also has a very nice voice; Beth wore a a black top over dark trousers, very trendy… ‘Make You Feel My Love’ and ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ was her choice of songs.
Jonathan opened the second half with an Elton John song, ‘The Circle Of Life’. he introduced Rachel Skelton to the stage. Rachel looked stunning in her stage outfit; she sang for us ‘Pie Jesus’ and ‘Toxic. Ellie Hill-Brown came next, she looked good in her stage wear; ‘The Flood’ and ‘Never Forget You’, The final act was Danielle Atkinson. She looked super in her outfit which was a top over multi couloured tights. Danielle has a strong voice for someone as small as she is and sang, ‘Evertime’ and ‘Hurt’. well, what a show from six lovely competitors; The judges took a little more time to choose the two going to the final on March 9th. The two  who were chosen were; (Drum Roll and Fanfare), Megan Rooker and Danielle Atkinson, well done girls…
